Important Upgrades on ODROID H4 Series as Compared to ODROID H3

  • AVX2 extensions and Alder Lake N CPU architecture – faster than Jasper Lake
  • Powerful iGPU, higher boost and base CPU frequencies
  • Intel i3 N305 8-Core Processor on the H4 ULTRA Version
  • DDR5 DRAM Interface 4800MT/sec. – faster than the DDR4 2933MT/sec.
  • Connect up to 3 display units at a time – 3x display ports as compared to 2x display ports on H3
  • Improved compute and graphics performance – better results for applications such as factory automation, robot, and signage
  • The ODROID-H4 ULTRA features the Dual BIOS used as a backup for the corrupted BIOS during the updates that might cause due to the power outage. Simply move the jumper next to the DC jack to recover BIOS.

Better Maximum Turbo and GPU Max Dynamic Frequencies

ODROID H4 ULTRA features the Intel i3 N305 processor with a 3.80GHz Maximum Turbo Frequency – 400MHz higher than the 3.40GHz N100 processor. The GPU Max Dynamic Frequency of the i3 N305 is also over over 1.2GHz - faster than the N100 operating at 750MHz.

Video Demonstration

GameCube and PS2 emulation games on Linux Vulkan GPU driver with Fractional-Scaling Technology. Enjoy classic SD-quality games in HD quality. ODROID H3 requires an external video card to achieve this quality, but ODROID H4 ULTRA does not require an external video card.

Better Display Performance

The improved GPU and CPU performance, complemented by the better DDR5 DRAM, allows the 3x displays connected simultaneously to yield better display performance. The H3 series had one output each for the DisplayPort and HDMI. The H4 series has an additional DisplayPort, which means you can now connect 3x 4K monitors to the ODROID H4 ULTRA.
